Unprofessional and Misleading Experience with Reebok Customer Care

I'm writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the unprofessional and misleading experience I had yesterday, October 25th at 12:20 PM during a chat with their Customer Care operator Shatadru.

I registered as a new member on the Reebok website with the expectation of receiving the promised 15% discount for my purchase of the Freestyle Hi top sneakers. However, the discount wasn't applied during checkout, and I never received a welcome email with any coupon (I also checked my spam folder).

Shatadru's responses in the chat were contradictory and misleading from the beginning.

They initially claimed I had to wait 3-5 days to get my discount coupon via email, then offered a $12 E-Gift Card to apply to this order, only to change idea later and claim that it was only applicable to select items.

At this point, Shatadru asked me to purchase the shoes and give them my order number. Afterward, they said that they refunded $12 (although it is still not visible on my bank account).

However, it was only after my purchase that Shatadru told me to check my email because they sent me the 20% discount coupon that I initially asked: according to them, it only takes 5 minutes to send the coupon. This contradicted their earlier statements that, because of the processing timeframe, I would have had to wait 3-5 days to get it. When I asked for an explanation and pointed out Shatadrus many contradictions, they wished me a nice day and abruptly ended the chat.

With the 20% coupon, I would have paid $64 instead of $73.87.

I kindly request a refund of the price difference ($9.87), and urge Reebok to also take disciplinary action against Shatadru.

This is not the experience any new customer wants and will stop me from making any future purchase on your website.

I am reporting this issue everywhere, and I have also filed a complaint on the Better Business Bureau website, and contact Reebok via private messages on Facebook (still waiting for a reply). I'm willing to escalate this matter to other consumer protection agencies and publicly, if necessary.

User's recommendation: Save the transcript of your chat messages with their customer care, or take screenshots. Report to Reebok management any fraudulent behavior of their customers care operators. File chargebacks with your financial institution. Report to every customer protection organizations, better if publicly for everyone to read to force Reebok to make things right and help you.

So first off I wanna say I love your womens underwear they are the most comfortable I've ever worn. Where my problem is , is that ive only had them roughly a month and i bought 2 packs when i bought them cause i loved them so much but they are already coming unraveled at the top and only been worn twice. Did i get a bad package or is this the norm for these? Id love to hear back.
